Seattle City Guide:
Just east of Northgate Mall, they've been feeding the north end a big, tasty menu of Indian classics since late in the last century. The all-you-can-stuff-yourself-with lunch buffet is always busy, insuring rapid rotation of steaming chafing dishes and cool salads, and there's even dessert -- coconut-pistachio rice pudding, if you have any room left. In addition to the usual mango, sweet or salty lassis, there's wine (port, too!), several domestics on draught, and Indian brews by the bottle.

The owner also exclusively imports the biggest selling beer in India, Hayward 5000. It packs a wallop and makes a fine foil to an incendiary Vindaloo. If you like to buck tradition on the holidays, Masala also does bang-up Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners: Turkeys are baked to perfection in the Tandoori oven.
  Seattle Weekly:
... Masala knows a thing or two about cooking meats: Tandoori ones are excellent, and stews and sauces complement others perfectly. Take, for example, the lamb boti masala, lamb chunks in a creamy stew deepened with coriander, cardamom, and about a zillion other spices.
  Seattle Dining:
Muted colors, dim lighting, Indian art on the walls and music in the air have turned this into a downright romantic-looking spot. They offer a nice lunch buffet 365 days a year from 11:30 until 3 p.m. Their menu clearly lists out vegan and non-dairy dishes, and they serve beer and wine. The adjacent patio is open during nice weather.
