His father was a restaurateur, and his brothers and other family members went on to work in the
business as well. After operating various Indian restaurants around Seattle, Mr. Sharma settled in seven years ago with Masala of
India Cuisine, located just east of Northgate Mall on Northgate Way.
Mr. Sharma
combines fresh ingredients with generations of recipes ond more than 100 years of Indian culinary tradition, in order to perfect his special dishes. New recipes are also added from time to time, to his customers' delight!
A 22-year veteran in the Seattle restaurant arena, Mr. Masala was one of the featured food vendors at the recent Northgate Festival. He has often conducted Indian
culinary classes at the North Seattle Community College campus. |
